We have added another product to our new Naked series: the Naked Enzyme Peeling for naturally impressive skin renewal. The products are particularly suitable for impure, oily and combination skin. With the series we want to celebrate your skin as it is. Completely natural and beautiful! Because everyone has small imperfections and that's a good thing! No more photo filters.
The enzyme peeling helps your skin to glow naturally. Unlike our other Naked products, you can only buy the enzyme peeling in our online shop.
How the Naked Enzyme Peeling works
Conventional peelings usually contain abrasive particles that roughly rub away the skin layer with sugar or fruit seeds. This can easily cause irritation and damage skin that is actually still healthy.
Our enzyme peeling works differently: The biotechnological enzymes it contains penetrate the horny layer and gently remove the excess skin particles. This happens by dissolving protein compounds and thus detaching the dead skin cells from the upper layer of skin.
The enzyme peeling also has a regenerating effect. The enzymes support your skin in cell renewal and thus promote blood circulation. The peeling also reduces pigmentation disorders or acne scars and prevents new blemishes.
After use, your complexion has a beautiful glow and your face feels soft and smooth.
Who is the peeling suitable for?
The enzyme peeling is particularly suitable for impure, oily and combination skin. In these skin types, it removes excess oil and reduces skin impurities.
If you have dry or sensitive skin, you should not use the peeling too often. In fact, an enzyme peeling is better suited to these skin types than a mechanical peeling. This is because peelings with abrasive particles can cause even more dryness and irritation in these skin types.
What active ingredients are included?
Our enzyme peeling is in powder form and only turns into a foam when combined with water. It contains a range of concentrated active ingredients, all of which have different benefits for your skin:
6% enzyme complex
You can read above what the enzyme complex does to your skin. What is special about our enzyme complex: Unlike conventional cosmetics, our ingredients are 100% natural. This means you can be sure that only plant-based active ingredients are coming into contact with your skin.
1% azealic acid
Azaleic acid has a gentle peeling effect similar to that of an exfoliant. It helps to refine pores and smooth the skin. Researchers believe that azealic acid stops the progression of skin problems in the upper layers of the skin. This means that azealic acid works against skin impurities and reduces acne scars and skin discoloration.
3% betaine
Betaines are an amino acid derivative and are found in both plants and the human organism. They moisturize the skin and ensure a smooth and supple complexion.
3% organic apricot kernel peeling
In coarser processing, apricot kernels are also used as an abrasive in conventional peelings. However, the apricot kernels for our enzyme peeling are ground very finely. This means they only have a very gentle "abrasive" effect and primarily serve as a support for the enzyme peeling, which can then work even better in the skin.
1% organic jojoba oil
Jojoba oil is actually a wax and is extracted from the jojoba bush. It contains vitamin A and vitamin E. These support the skin's cell renewal, act against inflammation and protect the skin from aging. It is also nourishing and smoothing.
How to use the peeling
Before you can use the peeling, your skin needs to be cleansed. The Naked range has the right product for this: The Remove it all Micellar Cleansing Water cleanses your skin deep down to the pores and prepares it perfectly for the peeling.
Now it's time for the Enzyme Peeling Powder. If you have impure, oily or combination skin, you can use it once or twice a week. If you have a different skin type, we recommend using the peeling once a week or every two weeks. Every skin is different and you have to experiment a little to find out how often the peeling is good for your skin.
To achieve its full effect, the peeling should be foamed up in your hands with a little water before use. A hazelnut-sized amount is enough. Massage it gently into your skin and then leave it to work for a moment. Then remove it with warm water. However, it should not be left on the skin for longer than 1-2 minutes.
Now the skin needs to be cared for. After every peeling, it is important that your skin is sufficiently moisturized. For intensive care, you can apply a serum before the actual cream. The Naked series has the right serum: The Glow Boosting Face Serum helps with regeneration and provides your skin with plenty of moisture.
After the serum, a cream should be applied. If you have used the peeling in the morning, it is important to protect the skin with a sun protection factor. Since the peeling works intensively in the upper layers of the skin, the skin is more sensitive to light immediately after application. With our Sensitive SPF 15 cream you can protect it from UVA and UVB rays.
If you have used the peeling in the evening, you can then apply the Naked Pore Refining Face Cream . Its active ingredients ensure an even complexion and provide moisture. It can also be used as a primer for your make-up, so you can apply the cream with sun protection factor first during the day and then the pore-refining cream.
Even if you used the peeling in the evening, you should not go without a face cream with sun protection factor the next day. This also protects your skin from the formation of pigment spots and works against premature skin aging.
