Thus, allowing you to integrate it perfectly into your day while combining it with other products – without it being noticed. The story behind the product

We are constantly searching for the best active ingredients for individual skin needs. With our cleaning and care products of the Cactus series, our goal was to create suitable products for almost every skin type and protect your skin from premature ageing and external influences such as sun rays. In doing so, we came across the prickly pear. The prickly pear not only has wonderful properties for skincare but is also very sustainable. It grows in the most challenging conditions and needs very little water. This allows us to combine our goal of optimal natural skincare with a high level of sustainability.

I am a 100% natural day cream with a mineral SP30, protecting your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays while simultaneously providing it with moisture. Thus, leaving it velvety soft.

Prickly Pear Seed Oil & Cactus Floral Water

We are both extracted from the prickly pear cactus and its flowers. We keep your skin hydrated throughout the day. We also help your skin better retain its own moisture. With the many vitamins and botanicals contained in the oil, an antioxidant effect is created that can prevent your skin from premature wrinkles.

Hyaluronic Acid  
I ensure a moisturized and youger looking complexion. My nourishing effect moisturises and firms your skin. Additionally, I help retain moisture and leave your skin feeling fresh. 

Apply me to your face in the morning after cleansing. If you spend a lot of time outdoors, you can repeat the application more often during the day to maintain sun protection. And don´t worry – by massaging me into the skin I become completely invisible and even leave your skin glowing naturally. My effect immediately takes effect thanks to titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.

Pongamia Glabra Seed Oil* - Karanja Oil – Has insecticidal and antiseptic properties and can serve as a natural preservative in products 

Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate – This ingredient contains polymerized glycerin (as an alcoholic component). The number after "Polyglyceryl-" indicates the average number of glycerine units. Hydroxystearates are salts or esters of 12-hydroxystearic acid (12-hydroxy-1-octadecanoic acid). - Keeps the skin in good condition

Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate - Esterification product of isostearic acid with polyglycerine (2: 1, three glycerine units) - enables the formation of finely divided mixtures of oil and water (emulsions)

Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil* - Argan Oil – Greatly nourishes and moisturizes skin and hair, revitalized and improves skin elasticity

Xanthan Gum - Fermentation product based on natural microorganisms – One of the most common thickener and emulsion stabilizer

What is so special about a mineral sun protector?

The two ingredients titanium dioxide and zinc oxide cover the skin like a protective shield or mirror and reflect the UV rays preventing them from penetrating the skin. The protective effect is consequently active immediately after application and there is much less potential for allergies than with the use of chemical UV filters.

What distinguishes a mineral from a chemical sun protector?

Mineral SPF are 100% natural, absorbed immediately into the skin and thus protect directly after application. Due to the contained titanium & zinc oxides UVA and UVB rays are reflected forming a fine, invisible protection on the skin. Chemical sunscreens, on the other hand, require about 15-30 minutes until they are absorbed into the skin - so the skin is not protected immediately after application. In this case, the skin is protected from UV rays by means of a chemical reaction.

Why is the daily sun protection factor so crucial for the skin?  

It has been proven that UV radiation contributes to skin ageing and can cause skin diseases. Therefore, it is vital to protect the skin on a day to day basis. This will help your skin stay fresh and healthy for longer.

What UV rays does the SPF30 face cream protect against? 

Titanium dioxide protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays. About 90% of the UV rays that hit your skin are UVA rays. They are long-wave rays that penetrate deep into the skin. They are reflected by the filter particles of the mineral filter and thus cannot penetrate the skin. The same applies to the more short-wave UVB rays. 

Why can´t I use the SPF30 face cream in the evening? 

The filter particles lie on your skin and are not absorbed. At night, however, you must let your skin breathe, which is why we recommend cleansing your skin intensively and using one of our 24H creams. If you apply a serum underneath or a mask before going to bed, you have lovely intensive care for your skin during your rest phase.
